125cc SOHC
The Daytona Corporation in Japan has developed and produced high-end after market products for the motorcycle industry since the company was founded in 1972. Their unique utility with office, warehouse, R&D and own test track including DYNO, has proven over and over again their ability to create the most powerful parts of different kinds of engines. For instance, the DOHC cylinder head placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in the MiniMoto SX in Las Vegas 2006.
Daytona has now taken it a step further by developing their complete engines of CRF 50 type.
The 125cc, 2 valves SOHC comes with Daytona Racing Outer rotor kit connected to digital CDI box with the possibility to change between 4 different timings. This gives the rider a chance to change the initial timing advance according to the status of the track or choosing between going Off-road or Super motard. Both the torque and power curves are very smooth without any "turbo effects" at any stage in the range. Maximum horsepower are 12.5 and 18.5 SEA for the two engines respectively. PitPro, Inc. is an authorized dealer of Daytona engines in the USA. The SOHC Daytona 125cc comes standard on PitPro Pro Mod for 2008 and is also available separately.
